Why choose Kenepa Therapy?
I believe every person is unique and beautifully complex, given the interplay of their natural predispositions, personal history, and environmental circumstances. Therefore, each therapy process will also need to be different. Kenepa Therapy is not tied to insurance companies, which means there are no restrictions with regards to therapy duration, so the focus can remain on the quality of care and your needs.

What is "Kenepa"?
The Quenepa fruit (also known as Spanish lime or Mamoncilla) is a fruit that can be found on the most beautiful beach on the island Curacao named Playa Kenepa. The word "Kenepa" is associated with the therapeutic process in several ways:

-
Similar to the fruit, we may appear hard from the outside, but when opened we find our softer and vulnerable sides hidden underneath.
-
The therapeutic relationship should be a place in which you feel safe to explore your inner thoughts and feelings, much like the solitude offered by the beach.
-
The beach embodies the concept of impermanence, with the constant ebb and flow of ocean tides, and weather changes. Similarly, therapy often involves accepting the impermanent nature of life and learning to navigate change with resilience and flexibility.

Insurance & Payment
It is best to check with your (international) health insurance provider whether psychological treatment at Kenepa Therapy can be reimbursed.
Dutch health insurance providers do not cover treatment at Kenepa Therapy yet.

I want to make access to mental health support as accessible as possible, thus if the price per session is more than you can afford we can discuss a lower rate.
